As the year 2023 approaches its final lap, I must start as I always do, with the praises of the almighty Allah for providing us with bountiful sustenance and the good health to move on. In addition, I must use this opportunity to extend my sincere appreciation to our deserving esteemed clients, business partners and associates for the trust they repose on us which provided a healthier ground for the sustainability of the business relationship we shared together throughout the year. Your confidence and endorsement these past years, have been of great importance to our accelerated progress, as such, I can’t thank you enough. Your unflinching support has brought some good projects that have helped us to achieve greater heights.

Like the other preceding years, 2023 will forever be remembered as a year that came with endless blessings to the UYK Holdings. With the completion and handing over of so many iconic projects across the country as well as winning several new engagements, the year is no doubt, one of the most promising in the history of our existence on the construction and engineering circle in Nigeria.

The strength and enthusiasm of my team at UYK, along with our supplier partners has been incredible. This continuing growth has consolidated our position as fast developing leading construction company to compete with all other popular names in the industry.

Following the inherent stamping of our trademark in building works for over two decades, we are now fully integrated into the mainstream aspect of engineering by establishing our brand name in roads and bridges constructions across the country. Our interest to diversify has also taken us from services providers to producers of goods and services. This holistic business approach may not be unconnected with our desire to lend a greater hand at supporting the economic prosperity of our country, encouraging local contents, and bridging the gap of unemployment. On this, I call on you all to follow and keep visiting our social media handles and websites to update yourselves with our on-going activities and future openings.

Despite the harsh global economic predicaments which necessitated for the persistent unpredictable rise in the prices of commodities and project materials cum unstable foreign exchange rates, that obviously affects our kind of business concentration in no small measure, UYK shall remain a focused player and an equal opportunity provider in the Nigerian business landscape. Our uncompromising business principles and clinical exhibition of professionalism in our contents, will forever stand tall to the seeing and admiration of all in the incoming year. This formed our decision to go 100% automated in the first quarter of 2024, we shall deploy the use of global model which will expand our business contents and streamline our engagement context with our partners and associates.

I am most pleased to inform you that, following the recognition of our sterling qualities on productivity, excellent service delivery and human capacity building, I was, on behalf of the UYK Holdings, awarded with an Honorary Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) in November 2023. This honour is an addition to the previous ones I received from various institutions of learning and professional bodies. We at UYK would forever remain indebted to these organisations for the recognition and pledge to reciprocate these noble gestures by doubling our service deliveries in many folds to the best satisfaction of our business partners across the globe.

As we set to user in the year 2024 with an open arm guided by the will and blessings of the almighty, YAHAYA KANSILA FOUNDATION the established humanitarian wing of the UYK will continue to offer unconditional support geared towards the improvement of lives of the citizenry in all spheres of human endeavours. More than ever before, expect from us a relentless progress, professionalism and above, sincerity of purpose in every relationship we established, and much more.

In conclusion, I most not forget the daily efforts put forth by our amiable members of staff in the office and in the field, for their dedication, resilience, and determination at creating a niche for our dear company in every aspect of its survival and rise to international stardom.
